He is the Director of Large Structures Highway Safety Engineering Research Center at the Ministry of Education. He is an active researcher in the areas of steel and composite bridges, especially concrete-filled steel tubular bridges
Xuhong Zhou Chongqing University, China. Professor Xuhong Zhou is an expert in the field of structural engineering, mainly in the areas of basic theory and the application of steel and composite structures. He is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, International Fellow of The Engineering Academy of Japan, and a Fellow of The Institution of Structural Engineers (UK). Professor Zhou currently serves as the Director of the Research Center of Steel Structures at Chongqing University in China.
