Public funding through the Fondo de Desarrollo de las Telecomunicaciones also supports wireless last-mile deployment in locations where commercial service providers have limited incentives to build. This gives the application mix a dual character, with residential-scale development driving volume while public-sector programs and specialized industrial projects driving the fastest growth. The Chile fixed wireless access industry, therefore, combines broad household reach with a growing share of institutional and mission-critical demand.
