Sierra Pacific Industries is the second largest lumber producer in the United States. Founded in 1949, and based in California, Sierra Pacific manages almost 1.9 million acres of timberland. Its lumber products range from timbers and framing lumber to fencing and specialty products. The company also produces millwork and re-manufactured lumber, as well as operating facilities that that produce electrical power using the wood waste.
