Baboota, Sanjula
Dr. Sanjula Baboota is presently working at Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard. She has a total experience of about 23 years in teaching and research.

Her research interests include improving oral bioavailability of BCS class II and Class IV drugs using approaches like complexation, polymeric conjugates, lipid based systems like microemulsions, nanoemulsions, solid lipid nanoparticles and nanostructured lipid carriers. She is actively involved in formulating nanoparticulate drug delivery systems for treatment of CNS disorders and cancer for single drugs and combinatorial drugs.

She has written several textbooks and has contributed chapters in books on Controlled and Novel Drug Delivery Systems. She is on the editorial board of Current drug delivery, an online pharmacy website, Scientific World Journal and BioMed Research International. She is Associate Editor of International Journal of Pharmaceutical Investigation. She has presented her research work at various conferences held in India and abroad. She has filed 3 Indian patents and has a list of 200 publications in high impact factor referred. She has supervised the work of over 80 graduate students.
Ali, Javed
Dr. Javed Ali has a total experience of 22 years in teaching and research. Presently working as Professor at Department of Pharmaceutics, School of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi, India.

His research interests include improving oral bioavailability of BCS class II and Class IV drugs using polymeric conjugates and lipid based nanosystems like microemulsions, nanoemulsions, solid lipid nanoparticles and nanostructured lipid carriers. He has also explored the area of nanoparticulate systems for herbal drug moieties for the treatment of acne and psoriasis. His group is actively involved in formulating nanoparticulate drug delivery systems for brain delivery for the treatment of CNS disorders.

He has supervised mode than 100 Masters and PhD students, presented research work in large number of conferences held in India and abroad, co-authored more than 290 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals and successfully filed four Indian Patent.?He is Reviewer to a large number of international and national journals, is Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Pharmaceutical Investigation and Section Editor-Pharmaceutics to the Journal of Young Pharmacists.
