Mining, manufacturing, and utilities contributed 23.3% to the gross value added (GVA) in 2022, followed by financial intermediation, real estate, and business activities with 17.8%, and wholesale, retail, and hotels with 15.1%. In nominal terms, the three sectors are expected to grow by 6.1%, 7.1%, and 9.1%, respectively, in 2023.

Scope
- Romanian Development Minister Cseke Attila signed 81 financing contracts on May 19, 2023, with a total value of RON925 million (EUR180 million). The contracts cover various infrastructure projects, including road rehabilitation, water supply and sewerage systems, parking lots, sidewalks, bridges, and culverts, as part of the National Investment Program “Anghel Saligny.”
