Key Highlights
- In Q1 2025, awareness of corporate ESG policies remained steady. The proportion of respondents who said their company had an ESG strategy increased from 42% in Q4 2024 to 46%.
- Most participants still believe ESG policies are mere marketing, but this response fell from 58% to 50%. The share of respondents who think most businesses are fully committed to ESG grew slightly from 4% in Q4 2024 to 6% in Q1 2025.
Scope
- Our sentiment polls ran between January and March 2025 on the Verdict network of B2B websites, which had 10.8 million user sessions in Q1 2025. In total, 1,470 respondents participated in the survey.
- The survey looked at attitudes towards ESG, the most important theme impacting businesses over the next decade.
