Marco F.L. Lemos Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal.Dr. Marco Lemos is an Associate Professor at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria's School of Tourism and Marine Technology and Researcher at the Marine and Environmental Research Center. He obtained his PhD from the University of Aveiro, and his research focuses on stress physiology, marine biotechnology, and the sustainable use of marine resources. He was the Coordinator of FCT R&D Units Marine and Environmental Sciences Centre (MARE-IPLeiria) and Marine Resources Research Group (GIRM), and is currently in the Executive Board and Guidance Council of Campus do Mar, international network of excellence.
Carina F�lix Polytechnic Institute of Leiria. Portugal.Dr. Carina F�lix is Researcher at FCT R&D MARE and Lecturer at Polytechnic Institute of Leiria's School of Tourism and Marine Technology. She obtained her PhD from the University of Aveiro, focusing on microbiology and multi-omics functional analyses of phytopathogenic fungi. Her research explores bioactive compounds of invasive seaweeds and their industry applications.
