An axial flow check valve is a type of valve used to control the flow of liquids and gases. It is designed to allow flow in one direction and prevent flow in the opposite direction. The valve is typically installed in a pipeline to prevent backflow. It consists of a cylindrical body with a disc or flap inside that is connected to a stem. When the pressure of the fluid in the pipeline exceeds the pressure of the valve, the disc or flap opens, allowing the fluid to flow through. When the pressure of the fluid in the pipeline drops below the pressure of the valve, the disc or flap closes, preventing the fluid from flowing back. Axial flow check valves are used in a variety of applications, including water treatment, oil and gas, and chemical processing. Some companies that manufacture axial flow check valves include Flowserve, Crane, Velan, and Kitz. Show Less Read more
