Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) is a type of dialysis used to treat acute kidney injury (AKI). It is a slow, continuous process that removes waste products and excess fluid from the body. CRRT is used in critically ill patients who are unable to tolerate traditional hemodialysis. It is also used in patients with severe electrolyte imbalances, fluid overload, and acid-base disturbances. CRRT is typically used in intensive care units and can be administered for up to 24 hours a day.
CRRT is a growing market, with a variety of companies offering products and services. Some of these companies include Baxter International, Fresenius Medical Care, NxStage Medical, B. Braun Melsungen AG, and Asahi Kasei Medical. Show Less Read more
