Kcentra is a hematological drug used to reverse the effects of vitamin K antagonists (VKAs) such as warfarin. It is a prothrombin complex concentrate (PCC) that contains a combination of clotting factors II, VII, IX, and X. Kcentra is used to treat or prevent serious bleeding episodes in adults with acute major bleeding due to VKAs. It is also used to treat or prevent bleeding episodes in adults with acute major bleeding due to VKAs who require urgent reversal of anticoagulation.
